The Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs

presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of

State for the Colonies, and, with reference to the

Colonial Office letter of the 13th instant, (22695/19)

relative to the proposed repeal of the Macao Extradition

Ordinance of 1881, is directed by Earl Curzon of Kedleston

to transmit to him the draft of a despatch, which, with

Viscount Milner's concurrence, it is proposed to address to His Majesty's Minister at Lisbon in the matter.
